What required technical attention.
The cardio floor was experiencing a combination of developing operating symptoms including unusual noise, inconsistent belt behaviour, rough movement and equipment that required closer technical review. The objective of the demonstration case is to show how a high-use facility can structure preventive maintenance around equipment condition rather than waiting for complete failure.
What inspection or diagnosis established.
Inspection identified multiple maintenance points requiring attention across the cardio equipment group, including running-surface condition, alignment, accumulated internal dust, moving-component wear, adjustment requirements and machine-specific operational checks. This is demonstration content only and does not describe an actual Larktech client site.
What Larktech actually did.
The demonstration intervention includes cleaning and inspection of accessible service areas, adjustment of applicable moving components, review of belt tracking and tension, lubrication where appropriate, inspection of rollers and drive components, tightening of accessible fasteners and controlled functional testing of each serviced machine.
What changed after the work.
The demonstration outcome records improved maintenance visibility across the cardio floor, clearer identification of machines requiring follow-up work and a documented distinction between routine preventive actions and faults requiring separate corrective repair or parts replacement.
How the technical outcome was checked.
Each serviced machine would be function-checked after maintenance, with operating behaviour, controls, movement and any remaining symptoms recorded before the equipment is returned to normal facility use.
